People travel across the country and around the world to see the Davis Collection.   When they've seen it, this is what they say:
			VISITORS COMMENTS FOR MAY 2010 I haven’t been in museum in several years. There have been some nice changes made. Mr. Davis deserves a place in the history books for putting together this collection. (Oklahoma) We are a FFA group out of Indiana on our way to OKC for an event. We saw the billboard for the museum on the Will Rogers turnpike and decided to stop. GEEZ…. I’m GLAD we did, this is amazing. We will stop on our way back. We only got half way through it. (Indiana) I brought my friends who are visiting from Michigan and believe this, they are in total AWE. I turned them loose at the front of the museum and they are like kids in a toy store. (Oklahoma/Michigan) Very interesting place. We are from the Ukraine doing the Route 66 tour. Will Rogers’s museum folks said we must see guns. Glad we did but wish we had more time. (Ukraine) Enjoyed the “Outlaw Section”. (California) Heck of a place. (West Virginia) I came many miles to see this place and it was worth every mile. My wife pointed out how clean this place is. (Florida) Very good. Am planning on bringing my family down in a couple of months. They will be amazed. (Missouri) This is a great place to kill some time. My wife is studying for her finals and ran me out of the house, so I ended up here. Amazing place. (Oklahoma) This is a nice museum. The boys and the big guys appreciate all the information given to our cub scouts. (Oklahoma) Best museum I’ve come across in years. Enjoyed visiting and the kids loved the trains. (Michigan) Just didn’t have enough time. I’ll be back when I have time to look at one section at a time. (Oklahoma) How in the heck did Davis get so rich? If he were alive today, he would be featured on Joan River’s “How’d You Get So Rich”. (New Jersey) Drove from Missouri to Claremore to take radium water baths back in 1959 and have never seen his museum. He must be smiling. (Texas) This is absolutely the best there is!! We thought it was just bragging about the “largest private collection”, but we saw the truth of it. (England) Read in the paper about the “Wall of Fame” and couldn’t attend the opening, but as quick as I got home, I came. Wonderful honor. (Oklahoma) Great “Medal of Honor” display. I’m one but not from Oklahoma, but I served with many who were. Very patriotic. (Texas) Your museum is so good to visit. Our English is small. (Turkey) You must have a large crew to perform all the maintenance it would take for this mammoth collection! Good job!! (Arizona) I saw some guns at the Heritage Center in Oklahoma City but nothing like this. I’m totally amazed and happy to have seen it. (Sweden) Hope your city doesn’t lose this collection when the 99 year lease expires. Your town would take a major blow. (Wisconsin) This is an awesome place. We appreciate the fact that you take such good care of it. (California) Will be back after lunch. Got to see all of this. Just a great place to find, so much to see and study. (California) There are four of us from California who made this trip to Oklahoma just to see this firearm museum. This is totally COOL!!!! We are coming back the day before we head back to take even more pictures. (California) Appreciate the information on Mr. Davis; he left a very wonderful museum. Our whole family was impressed. (Nebraska) We are touring Route 66 and just came from Joplin. Many people told us to stop at your museum. It is most fascinating. (Brazil) Six hundred and sixty years of history under one roof. AMAZING!! (Ireland) I’m sure another 1,350 guns is not seen anywhere else. This collection has the unusual down every isle. (U.S. Virgin Islands) It is so nice and cool in here. Great museum, I’ve enjoyed my time here. (Oklahoma) Well. I identified a handgun that a fellow worker has claimed he made with parts stolen from our company. Turns out it’s a manufactured 1950 Iver Johnson. His secret is out! (Washington) I didn’t even want to come here, but the others did and I wound up LOVING it!! Just graduated from college. Rah!! (Texas) The guy who collected this had to richer than Bill Gates. (Oregon) Always wanted to see this, but the wife said “no way”. After my 8year anniversary gift to her, the only thing she could top it was this trip to the museum. Thanks for saving my marriage. (New Mexico) Davis wasn’t good looking, but I can see why he would attract women. What an interesting life he must have lived. (Arkansas) Our Guide said, “Come on, I have to show you because you are NEVER going to believe it”. (Minnesota) While the ladies prepare food for the weekend, all the men and boys decided to spend our time with you. We felt much more welcome here. (Oklahoma & Texas) We come by every time we ride our bikes. We always need a potty break and your restrooms are so clean! Of course, our men start looking at the collection and we end up spending half the day here but that’s OK, we have plenty to look at. (Texas) We are heading home but were told not to leave without seeing this collection. We’ll get home late but glad we didn’t miss it. (Louisiana) J.B. Hamby should be on the “Wall of Fame”. (Oklahoma) I wouldn’t have to come so often if you didn’t keep expanding the collection, but I’m afraid I’ll miss something. I love it!!! (North Carolina) Just a great museum to visit. (Pennsylvania)
